Awareness-Raising Campaign in Vanadzor
This time, the focus was on the city of Vanadzor. The event, hosted by Restart Vanadzor NGO, featured a workshop led by Aren, a key member of our team. During the session, Aren explored the causes of social media addiction and provided practical strategies for overcoming it.

Awareness-Raising Campaign in Aygehovit
As part of the "EmpowerUrself2Advocate4Wellbeing" youth participation program, Lusine, a core team member, organized an impactful awareness-raising event in Aygehovit village (Tavush region). During the session, she introduced the project's goals to the students and facilitated a meaningful discussion about bullying—its signs, effects, and prevention strategies.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with the students, engage in dialogue, and identify potential cases of bullying within their school community. Together, they explored possible solutions to address these issues, empowering the students to take an active role in fostering a safer, more supportive school environment.
Awareness-Raising Campaign in Aygevan
As part of the long-term awareness campaign “EmpowerUrself2Advocate4Wellbeing,” our team member Arshaluys conducted an awareness-raising session at the Aygevan village school in the Armavir region.
During the session, Arshaluys discussed the importance of mental health, its key indicators, and strategies for maintaining well-being. The students gained valuable insights into mental health, and through interactive discussions, they collaboratively uncovered common myths and misconceptions surrounding the topic. This initiative provided the young people with essential knowledge, empowering them to advocate for mental health awareness in their communities.
Celebrating Mental Health World Day
Our core team from "EmpowerUrself2Advocate Wellbeing" eagerly celebrated World Mental Health Day! Nare, Edgar, Lusine, and Arshaluys seized the opportunity to engage with young people in Gyumri, focusing on the critical issue of bullying and its prevention.
During the session, we explored various aspects of bullying, including its forms, impacts, and effective prevention strategies. It was heartening to witness the youth’s awareness and willingness to discuss such a pressing topic. Their thoughtful questions and shared experiences fostered a rich dialogue, highlighting the importance of community support in addressing bullying.

Celebrating Mental Health World Day in Artik
As part of our efforts to celebrate World Mental Health Day, the "EmpowerUrself2advocate4wellbeing" team organized another successful meeting, this time in Artik. Tsaghik, Irina, Aren, and Rosa engaged with young people on the topics of common mental health myths and the importance of self-care.
It was encouraging to see the level of interest and engagement from the participants. The meeting was interactive, incorporating activities such as games, real-life examples, and a Q&A session, which facilitated meaningful conversations.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Artik Youth House for hosting this event and supporting our mission to raise awareness around mental health.
Awareness-Raising Campaign in Gyumri
The third event took place at the Gyumri Youth House, where our core team member, Nare, delivered an insightful presentation on our long-term program. She began by outlining the program's objectives and how it aims to empower youth through skill-building and community engagement.
Nare then shifted focus to the critical issue of mental health, particularly in the context of social networks. She highlighted both the positive and negative impacts of social media on mental well-being. For instance, while social platforms can foster connections and provide support, they can also lead to issues like anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation.
Through interactive discussions, Nare encouraged participants to share their experiences and thoughts on navigating social media healthily. This exchange not only fostered a sense of community but also emphasized the importance of mental health awareness among young people.
Awareness-Raising Campaign in Yerevan State University
The mental health awareness campaigns under our "EmpowerUrself2Advocate4Wellbeing" project are moving forward with great energy. Recently, Tsaghik from our core team met with students from Yerevan State University for a thoughtful and engaging session. The discussion covered key topics like the criteria for good mental health and the fundamental pillars of self-care, helping participants explore how they can take better care of their mental well-being every day.
Students also learned about different strategies for emotional regulation and self-care, focusing on how to apply them in real-life situations. They were introduced to a few practical techniques aimed at tapping into their inner resources and boosting their ability to cope with challenges. It was a hands-on experience, giving them tools they can use to manage stress and improve their emotional balance in both their personal lives and academic journeys.
VisionAwareness-Raising Campaignas in Aparan
Тhis time focus was on addressing the critical issue of bullying, with an event held in the city of Aparan. The session took place at “Altera Lab”, where Hamest, a core team member, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the forms, causes, and effects of bullying. He also provided insights into prevention and intervention strategies.
Following the presentation, participants engaged in a discussion where they shared their developed tactics for combating bullying. They explored common situations encountered in their schools and reached a consensus to actively promote the prevention of bullying within their communities moving forward. We are proud of the participants' dedication and collaborative spirit, and we remain committed to supporting their efforts in creating safer and more inclusive communities.
